Welcome to Outbackjacks Horse Rescue

genaOutbackjacks Horse Rescue in Princeton, BC is a project developed by Gena Sandli. Her mission is to bring horses in need to the ranch, rehabilitate them, and then place them into new and nurturing homes. To date, the rescue has placed numerous horses with successful adoptees. Our efforts have been acknowledged and featured in the Similkameen Spotlight, Global News, The Vancouver Sun and other media.

We specialize in care for all ages, and will take on horses suffering from abuse, neglect or any other problems. At the present time, the ranch has facilities for up to eight horses. Often, horses arrive in distress and require intensive veterinary care, specialized feeding requirements, medications, farrier services and other rehabilitation services or treatment before they are ready to adopt. We carefully screen all potential adoption applications to ensure the horse will be well looked after, loved, and that any long-term health needs will be followed diligently.

Outbackjacks is a private, non-profit rescue, approved by and an agent of The Horse Protection Society of BC. Please feel free to contact us at any time for more information, or to enquire about current adoption possibilities.
